Po Ying Valley, Solo AAR

Postby Panama » Mon Dec 04, 2017 5:31 pm

Lord Forbes one of the founding members of the Blue Blooded Society has gone missing, the last they heard from him was a strange letter some months back & his friends eager to find him have headed to the valley of Po Ying where his daughter Harriet is leading an archaeological expedition.

As I just said somewhere else (old men tending to repeat themselves), beautiful report! Also, I really like your idea to do Perilous Island as a solo campaign, and am looking forward to the next episode.

Thanks Rags I think (old men) The reason I pick Perilous Island over the others was really down to the terrain & models I have at present but like yourself I was also interested to see how it would work as it was per the solo rules & deck, so with that in mind when I made up the two leagues I picked from things only available in the main Rule book & the Perilous Island book.

Apart from rolling for the initiative at the start of the game as that important for deployment, everything else will be done as per the solo play rules, I've also played the Finial Flight scenario (ARR soon) & have to say that over the two games I've not been disappointed. :D

Panama,
I've been trying to do the same thing, play Perilous Island as a solo campaign. I keep getting distracted.
