Apophis

Postby rags » Fri Dec 22, 2017 4:32 am

Having decided to take a crack at Tomb of the Serpent, I needed to paint up my Apophis mini. I'm not the painter I was before I started having to wear a magnifying visor just to tell the front of the dang mini from the back, but here he is. Standing next to him is Risen Priestess Kaphet-Nur, who will be featured in the next scenario, Shady Deals. AAR of the first scenario to come shortly.

He's a fine looking fellow. I like how you matched his tats to his...kilt, or whatever you call that garment. It makes them stand out better.

Here's mine. Looks good enough in this high-rez photo, but by eyeball I can't see his tattoos/engravings at all.

Jeez that came out big.

I used copper metallic paint on the tats, or scars, or whatever they are, as I thought it would display well against the green. They really light up from the flash in the photo; by eye it's not so dramatic, but looks a bit cleaner.
Merry Christmas, Whom.
And all. :D
