Pulp Alley games at North Texas RPG Con, June, Ft. Worth

Postby piper909 » Mon Mar 27, 2017 5:15 am

Greetings! I will be hosting three separate games of Pulp Alley at the North Texas RPG Con in Ft. Worth, June 1-4, 2017. The scenarios will be played Thursday, Friday, and Saturday:

The Search for the Saucer People: A fiery streak crosses the Kentucky night sky. Did a flying saucer crash in a remote mountain region? Many inquiring minds want to know the answer! Players will control pre-generated teams of lawmen, mobsters, investigators, or hillbillies in pursuit of the truth. PULP ALLEY is a fast-playing, easy-to-learn game that combines the best of role-playing with skirmish-level miniatures. All materials will be provided. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306 ... e185e6.jpg

The Temple of Terror: Does a hidden temple to the Great Old Ones lie at the heart of a Louisiana swamp? Players will control pre-generated teams of adventurers, tramp sailors, mobsters, and renegade Foreign Legionnaires in search of the sinister shrine. PULP ALLEY is a fast-playing, easy-to-learn game that combines the best of role-playing with skirmish-level miniatures. All materials will be provided. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306 ... c8f8f8.jpg

The Scarlet Brotherhood's Reign of Blood: The Scarlet Brotherhood's modern descendants must ruthlessly suppress those who would oppose them! The desert wastes of Egypt will be the killing ground where competing cults clash in a battle only one can survive. Players will control pre-generated teams of rival cultists. PULP ALLEY is a fast-playing, easy-to-learn game that combines the best of role-playing with skirmish-level miniatures. All materials will be provided. http://i123.photobucket.com/albums/o306 ... ramfpf.jpg

Information at the convention website, http://ntrpgcon.com/

I'm attempting to bring some variety to this con and introduce people to the game that best combined elements of RPGs and skirmish-level miniatures. But I've not tried PA at this show before, so no idea yet how well it will be received or if my table will fill.

Note for the PA Crew: Is there any promotional support available for this convention? If there are any materials I can hand out to help publicize PA, I'd be glad to distribute them. Flyers, catalogues, FAQ sheets, any sort of contact info/extra publicity or even any materials as prizes? Just let me know. Ta!

I will do my best to share pictures and after-action reports -- the convention is going really well so far and I'm introducing Pulp Alley to new players who all have a good time and will, I hope, become active PA gamers.

How do I post images here? Must I link from a hosting service, or can I upload direct from my computer? Never tried this on this forum before.

Experimenting with PhotoBucket link now:

Do not disturb strange caves in Appalachia -- they could be perilous!

And whatever happened to those hillbillies messing around with that flying saucer thingamajig?
