Hex Terrain

For discussing basic movement, dodge moves, and sneaking....

Anyone else tried this?

I scored a bunch of Heroclix (I think?) stuff at a local thrift store, and it seemed to be perfect for PA games.
Converting movement/ranges was simple, and (imho) made for a game that was easy to understand for newbies and rendered moot any discussion/conflict over what character may or may not have been able to reach/been in range of a particular feature/fig.

Dunno, but it seemed to work.

I'll readily admit that the table doesn't inspire the sort of "ooo neat!" comments common to many of the AARs posted, but it is functional.

Visually, it kind of puts me in mind of an old 8-bit video game console...like Pulp Alley for the Atari 1200. I'd like to see a league featuring Mario and Donkey Kong as leader and sidekick. ;) (Heck, it would have to be better than their "E.T. the Extraterrestrial" game.)
Thanks for posting it...it's cool to look at.

It's Heroscape terrain rather than Heroclix. Good find.

Many use this stuff for BattleTech. I spray painted mine a mushroom-tan and it looks less toon-ish. You can also use it under a table cover cloth for elevation changes.
